I found this book at a local bookstore in Hamilton. I'm pretty sure you can find this at any local bookstore such as Indigo, Chapters or Coles. I adore Coco Chanel and her mark in the fashion world. Her legacy still lives on until now. The Book Author is Justine Picardie. Most of my friends told me that it is a really good book and wanted to learn more about her history and life. So i grabbed one for my self. I can't wait to read this book. It is still sitting on my coffee table waiting for it to be read. I'll let you know about this book after i finish and i'm pretty sure i will love it -- Its Coco Chanel.

No words to describe this new Gucci Mens fall/winter collection other than ahh!mazing. Frida Giannini always have an eye for fashion. This collection just made me love her even more. The colors of emerald greens, navy blues and maroon is just ridiculously perfect. I love how Giannini always uses them in her collection. The Fabrics and patterns are outstanding. Frida Giannini is my inspiration. She pretty much killed it -- every past season collection she did is always perfection.

I just want to tell you guys Happy New Year! Finally a new year. This past 2011 was amazing, i would say. Many events happened. Some were down but mostly were ups. I'm going to miss the things i did this past year. A year before 2011 was not good at all, so many things happened to my family and i. There was a lot sadness and grief but we got through them. We got stronger and stronger. This past year was just a begging of a new chapter of my life. I can't believe that it ended so fast. I can't wait for the future, this new 2012. I can't feel it that it is going to be amazing. Other than that. I have new resolutions this new year. I going to try my best to quit this horrible hobby of mine, Smoking. It is hard i must say. I know this post may be late but i still have Christmas Spirit. Christmas is probably one of my first favorite holidays. It's all about love, sharing, giving and it is the birth of Jesus. I always love giving presents to the people i love. This month is the busiest month ever. Specially when you work at a retail store, you pretty much have to work everyday because people are shopping for Christmas. It was my Sisters sweet sixteen as well. My family and i threw the biggest surprise party. Let me tell you, she was pretty surprised! I loved it. Other than that. My Christmas was the best. I spent it with my family of course. We exchanged gifts and ate a lot actually. If you are a Filipino, you know what i am talking about. Haha. Let me know what you did or you got for Christmas? I would love to hear some stories. Its been a month since i posted on this blog. It is now December and its raining for days now! This past few weeks has been so hectic. I'm so busy that i can not even remember half of my plans. I did all the Christmas decorations, clean the house and did some of my Christmas shopping. I still have more to go. I'm one of those last Christmas minute shopper. I like to challenge my self and It does really suck that i don't feel Christmas Spirit yet. Other than that. Just been doing my school work and been working a lot as well. It's so crazy at work. I have learned that so many people are very demanding and ignorant. I loathe those personalities on people. but yeah hope you like this look. Surprisingly, it was warm today.

Adrian Wu takes us yet into another whole different vision but this time it involves with science and physics. The collection was inspired by Quantum Physics. All the colors, textures and the component he had use is just amazing. Although i was pretty much devastated that i miss the fashion show but on the other hand Adrian debuted this Spring Summer 2012 Collection in LG Fashion back in October. I was very stressed out this past couple of days. Thinking what am i going to be for Halloween. When it comes to dressing up for an occasion like Halloween. I pretty much do it very big. I didn't want to be like a typical simple doctor or construction worker costume. It has to be someone i really love. I love dressing up. So i thought why not be Michael Jackson. I have always loved his style and music. I get to be the iconic king of pop, Michael Jackson for Halloween. Let me tell you that it was very hard to find this replica jacket, Michael Jackson wore in the Thriller Video. It took me probably maybe like a week for searching a M.J Costume but i was very glad that i found one. I found this very cool vintage store downtown Hamilton. Called Out of The Past. I never thought that i would find it there. The only one thing i forgot was the white glove but hope you like it and Check out the lookbook (spookbook) contest. I love Autumn but winter is coming. I have not got a time to go for fall and winter shopping. All these knitted cardigans, blazer and hat are all i really want this year. H&M just launched their winter collection. I must say that i love this purple velvet blazer from H&M. It would be really nice if all were these are in my walk-in closet. I finally got my own domain. Not sure if you have noticed but the link of my website has changed into a .com hosted by godaddy. I really had difficult time choosing the right name for my blog, though all my friends and family always tells me that i am fashionable. My one friend really helped me picking out the name for my blog. He told me to name it Bueno Fashionisto and i really liked it because in Spanish. Bueno means Good and people are always telling me i have a good fashion sense. It all made sense. So i named this blog The Bueno Fashionisto. Hope you all like the new domain link. It is now 3.30 am. I can't believe that i'm still awake at this time. I have told myself that i will start going to bed early but i just can't help it. Specially that i'm on this cough medicine called Hydrocodone. It makes me feel really drowsy like i had a shot of tequila but it works really good and very strong side effects. I hate getting sick. Other than that, I want want a new camera. I had my Canon Rebel XS for almost 3 years now. It is not a bad camera but I think it’s time for me to update it. My new obsession is this Canon EOS 5D Mark II. I have heard so much good news about this camera that it makes me want to buy it and use my tuition money or I can just save up, haha. That will take me centuries if that was my only choice. This camera cost like two grand. I think i'm going to start saving up. Wish me luck. I know this is not a fashion related, maybe? kind of? but yeah. Sorry for this rant.

Topshop & Topman in Canada

Topshop & Topman are now in Canada. After months of consumer buzz and excitement. Topshop & Topman one of British's top iconic retail is now available in Canada. I think i'm going to start spending my money there now. I must say that i love British. I love the Fashion, Clothes, Music and their History. Bringing UK Fashion Landmark to Canada will make people go crazy, like myself and i mean that in a good way. The store opened just yesterday, on October 5th. Although i miss the grand opening. I didn't miss much but from what I've heard the line up was very long. Other than that, i would have love to see Coco Rocha cut the ribbon.

Topshop is Located at the bay in Yorkdale Shopping Mall. From a reliable source says that "Topshop and Topman design look and feel will evoke the spirit of London's iconic Oxford Circus store. Embracing just over 15,000 square feet of retail the store will span two floors interconnected with an in-store stairwell. Polished black glass portal entries, matt porcelain flooring and white neon signage, will bring the brands' signature look to this first Canadian location. Architectural details will include signature touches such as mannequin display windows, carnival neon shop lettering, graphic mural decals and black accents throughout the store." Just reading that makes me want to drive there already and sleep outside the parking lot, just to be the first customer to go in. I just can't wait to check it out. I'll make sure i have enough money so i could do a little shopping or more.

Impeccable Timing

It is now Thursday. What would make my Thursday perfect? All i need are my Favorite Vogue issue this year, My English homework, My cell phone and of course, to see what i am actually reading and writing is with my Prada glasses. Although i am missing my Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks. I think i'll live, I still have my horrendously awful taste coffee i made. Haha. Just wanted to keep you posted what i am doing right now. I finally got a dress form, that i have been looking for centuries. This is not mine but a friend actually was nice to loan it to me until i get my own. I'm still saving up. Let me tell you that it is not cheap. Dress Forms can get really expensive. Depends what kind you buy. I really want to get a nice one (i prefer an adjustable dress form), Since i am going to a fashion school next year. In fact that i really didn't like using my sister as a guinea pig and She didn't really like when i bother her and all that needles/pins poking through her skin. I do apologize to my lovely sister as you are reading this, I love you. But i am so happy and i can finally start sewing and making cute little dresses again. Other than that. I was featured in this online magazine called Homme-Tech: Fashion for advance man by Zacery Alexander, the amazing editor. That was just lunched this month. Missing last year Toronto fashion week was not pleasant at all. On the other hand, hopefully i will make it this time. Some of you may not know. LG Fashion Week is the biggest fashion week held in Toronto, Canada and it is the second largest fashion week in North America after New York. It will be held in David Pecaut Square on October 17 to 21 and will feature twenty seven amazing designers such as Jay Manuel, Jeoffer Caoc, Joe Fresh and one of my good friends, Adrian Wu. Hey Lovelies! Fall is finally here. I must say that this is my favorite season of all. I just love the orange/red leaves and that cold breeze that blows on your face. This last month was indescribably buoyant. I turned 21 this past August. Although i still feel like a kid, i had that terrifying moment where i thought that i am getting older but 21 is just the first chapter in my life. I know where i stand, what i want and who i am. It was very pleasant to spend my birthday and the weekend with family at Niagara Falls. It's been way too long since i have step my foot on that festive place. I do apologize for my lack of presence in this blog. After hearing that horrendous news two months ago about Amy Winehouse. I was pretty devastated. She was an amazing singer and i will continue to love her for what she has brought in the music industry and for just being her.

Other than that. I am just working on my portfolio and upgrading my courses for the college i want to get into. Though its hard because work is pretty much taking for my time and even my social life. I miss posting looks on my lookbook account. I do apologize about that as well. It is difficult to keep up with things while my work is taking over my life. One more thing. I have a new obsession. It is this studded jacket from Virgin Black. I want to invest my money into this jacket. I love it so much. Very rock n' roll but i promise you that i will try my best to keep my presence in this blog. Much love.

Well today was a bust. I could not sleep at all last night thinking about these shoes. Today my brother and i went to Zara stores near by but they don`t have it. I called every Zara store and they told me that it is sold out. Thanks for telling me! All that hard work of walking around the mall. I must say that i`m pretty tired. I am a little upset. I really want them. It is on sale for $69.00 CAD of course, every guy would want a pair of studded shoes. Hopefully i can find it somewhere online. I would actually pay more than the actual price just to have one. Well that`s it! I just wanted to tell you guys. Wish me luck finding them. My birthday is coming up soon, in like 22 Days and i am excited and I am in love with these studded shoes from Zara. This pair of shoes kinda does remind me of Christian Louboutins Studded Oxford but i cant afford that. Well maybe soon. Trying to save money for that dream shoes of mine. Well for the mean time i want to find these pair of shoes tomorrow. I am literally going to call every Zara store in Ontario, Canada just to get my feet in this. Spring is here. One of my favorite season but the rain does not really help at all. This is one of my spring look that i have posted in lookbook.nu. You don't really need to wear bright colors in spring but I love to wear dark colors in spring and using 1 or 2 color to contrast the look so you are not wearing too much black or dark colors. Monday evening was such a disappointment. People actually don't listen to you at work. As many i have said or told them, they do not listen at all. Sorry, Don't mind me i was just ranting thats all. An hour ago, I was going through my old things and i found my old art books from four or five years ago. I love drawing and i still do sometimes. It makes me relax and my way to escape reality. I got excited to look all the things i drew when i was younger. Here some drawings i really liked. I use Photoshop to make the pictures look vintage-ish.

I have never ever got so nervous, scared and excited all at the same time. The feeling felt like i was going to vomit and i could feel it in the pit of my stomach. I got my tattoo for the first time ever in my life yesterday. Luckily i was with a friend, Sara came with me. The tattooist told me, i picked the most hell of a spot for my first tattoo but after i lay on the chair, all i could think how much this pain is going to be. My adrenaline was indescribable and my heart was beating like a hammer. It was not that bad at all. I thought it would hurt more than i thought it was going to be. After it was all over. I looked in mirror and i was really satisfied. The tattoo is actually backwards so when i look in the mirror i can read it. It says "S i e m p r e t e a m a r e f a m i l i a b u e n o" meaning i will always love you bueno family. This tattoo is meaningful to me. This past two years was tough. We lost two people we love. There was a lot of tears, grief and sadness. It was really hard for me to see my family and specially my mom to lose someone we love and who is really close to our hearts. I know that Grand Father, Emmanuel Sr. Bueno and my God Uncle, Emmanuel Jr. Bueno will always be in our hearts and rest in peace. This tattoo is dedicated to my amazing family and family back home in Manila. Even though that we live so far apart, i know that you will always be there in my heart. So Every time i look in the mirror and see this tattoo, i will think of every one of you. God Bless.

I literally waited and did a countdown just to watch the Live Hologram Show Burberry presented in Beijing. I must say that it was amazing. Probably one of the best Runway show i have seen after Karl Lagerfeld Turns the Great Wall of China into a Runway for Fendi, I literally cried when i watched it. Fashionably Late

This past Wednesday was a lot of fun actually. I got to work with my best friend, Sara Eshak. My Future Partner in crime and in the fashion business i must say. She needed someone to shoot for her up coming project for school. I must say that we were Fashionably Late but Luckily her teacher was not upset at all. Her idea was to portray a Fashion Indie Magazine. It's really great. She's an amazing Photographer, Designer and Graphic Designer. I got to see the pictures and i love them. I can not wait to see the the finish product. Even thought it was such a short photo-shoot but we still manage to have fun and actual get the photos how she wanted. Heres some couple photos to show. Lately I have been doing a little project. I have been drawing, writing, and sewing for my portfolio for the fashion school i want to go to. I have been putting a lot of ideas, time and effort on this little black book of mine. It has everything i want to do for the collection. Lots of crazy ideas, patterns, materials, fabrics and such. When i first laid eyes on Animal prints. I fell in love with them. Animal prints have long been a popular style for many reasons now. For one, they are expensive and considered rather exotic. Hence they are a symbol of wealth and status for rich people. Throughout history, kings and other high people have used animal print rugs and such as a sign of status just as mounted animals are kept as trophies. Animal print became popular for women in the United States in the late 1960s during the Hippie movement. Animal Prints is a clothing and fashion style now in which the garment is made to resemble the pattern of the skin and fur of an animal such as a Leopard, Cheetah, Zebra or Giraffe. Is it now also used for handbags and footwear and even some jewelry but a major difference between animal prints and fur clothing is that animal prints today very often use fake fur instead of animal coat.

Spring has begun. Bright Colors is now in. We all know what in Spring we wear bright colorful colors but as for my self, I would love to wear Pastels colors. I can't get enough of beige, pale blue, green and yellow. It is very cool colors for this season. Let's not forget that white is very nice as well. I love that feeling when you wear colors and that it is very warm but cool at the same time. I still love to wear dark warm clothes in spring or summer but with a mix of cool pale colors. I pretty much just woke up right now and now listening to Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix, this song has the best guitar intro, one of the best in the history of music. Right now i'm sick and my throat is hurting like hell. I hate being sick because you feel like you don't want to do anything at all except just lie on bed listening to good music or watch Jersey Shore, haha. Last night i went to a house party with my brother and friends. It was a lot fun. I didn't drink that much because i wasn't feeling that great but i still had fun. Drinking really does not help when your sick. My plans for next month is to start my Portfolio for fashion school. I'm obsessed with florals design, flowers, spikes, leather and rock music. So what i'm thinking is, i want to do a collection inspired by flowers, Rihanna and rock music. The Story is about this young rich girl that lives in this big mansion but her parents are so strict that she can't even do anything that she wants. She fell in love with rock music but her parents thinks its garbage. She couldn't even listen or even wear what she want to express her feelings about rock music. One day she stood up for herself and told her parents that she feels trap inside and that she could not handle it anymore. She was this young lost flower and She needed to bloom like the other flowers. She was named The Rebel Flower.

Today was The Family Day in Canada. I did not do much but spend my time with my amazing family. It was really nice. I made food. I grilled chicken, my brother ordered chow mien. It`s so good. My mom and my sister did all the dinner setting. It was probably one of my favorite dinner time with my family but for Bueno de familia is like family day every day. What do we do? On Family Day, many people plan and take part in activities aimed at the whole family. These include visiting art exhibitions, watching movies, skating on outdoor ice rinks, playing board games and taking part in craft activities. Some communities plan special public events, and art galleries and museums may have reduced price or free entry. As the weather is usually very cold in February, hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies are popular snacks. Other people use the long weekend as an opportunity for a short winter break or to travel to visit family members or friends. As Family Day falls on the same date as National Heritage Day, some people use the day to explore their personal heritage and family history. Family Day was first held in Canada in the province of Alberta in 1990. It is supposed to reflect the values of family and home that were important to the pioneers who founded Alberta, and give workers the opportunity to spend more time with their families. Family Day was introduced in Saskatchewan in 2007 and in Ontario in 2008. One of the reasons for introducing Family Day was that there was a long period when there were no holidays from New Year's Day until Good Friday. Source

The Black Prada

The week had been a sad one. The condition of the family dog, Bobbie, had gone from bad to considerably worse and we knew she only had a few days left before her last kidney would give out. We were all holding teary-eyed vigils in our rooms, in the kitchen, or next to the dog’s crate, from which came a repugnant, laborious and melancholic pant.

Meanwhile, Saks 5th Avenue was in deep-sale mode. The prices of racks and racks of Gucci, Armani, Escada, Cavalli, Oscar De La Renta, Dolce and Gabbana, Louis Vuitton and Hermès were being slashed. 50% off articles that were already 30% off, 80% off everything with a red tag, 74% off everything with a green tag, orange stickers and blue stickers and yellow stickers, and 40% off the tag price. It was a veritable melting pot of uber consumer-friendly prices.

My father, never one to meet a sale with a closed wallet, dragged me there to meet my mother so we could get some discount Armani. Despite our pre-mourning mourning, we went. We arrived before my mother and had time to canvass the men’s stores and get something to drink before we attacked the four-floored women’s Saks. We entered the store frappucino’s in hand, sales in mind.

I’ve always admired Saks for being so polished and pristine. I adore watching tight-ended women with acrylic nails and black stilettos wrap one article of clothing in waves of superfluous coloured paper. I wordlessly marvel over how their blush matches their skin tone perfectly, how it buffs out all minor facial blemishes or imperfections. How the salespeople own the floor and make it their runway, not just a few hundred square feet of scuffed tile.

But this was the sales-Saks. It was as if the gods of fashion had whipped out their willies and pissed all over everything. There were racks of clothes that you could just tell had been touched, smoothed out, made a fuss over, tried on, taken off, been rejected, been stared at pensively, reevaluated, thrown on one more time and then been nixed and tossed back on the rack a thousand times that day. The salespeople looked tired and worn-out. Their buns and faux-hawks had sagged because the hair gel that was meant to keep them alive had been sweated onto already shiny foreheads. It was as if the updos were sighing, or frowning. But the limp-haired persons took no notice of their lifeless hair, seeing as they were too preoccupied trying to cover up the stains their mid-July doses of deodorant had made when they melted and drooled into their clothes. I was tempted to notify someone that this wasn’t S-E-A-R-S it was S-A-K-S (for Christ’s sakes) but deemed it inconsiderate and just screamed it repeatedly in my head.

Most of the time I went to Saks I looked like a complete slob. I hadn’t brush my teeth or showered in days. My facial hair was as long as the hair on the top of my head. My breath reached across the room and slapped the person at the other end. I wore stained shorts and a dirty rag of a t-shirt paired with Birkenstocks. Not only that, but I forgot to wear a belt and therefore the entire store could have a great look of my boxers. But this time it was different. I was tucked in and fragrant. I had showered, shaved, brushed, plucked, exfoliated, moisturized, skinned, gelled, sprayed, applied and dabbed. I wore a blue shirt that brought out my eyes and everything below the belt (which I was wearing) was long enough, snug enough and or hugged my bottom like a mother hugs her newborn.

I was clean, confident and charismatic.

I had to find something that measured up to Saks’ usual sterling quality, somewhere that hadn’t been ravaged by plebeians, somewhere to revitalize me before this nightmare materialized and tarnished my safe-haven, my fantasy world, my little utopia and turned it into a whore of a store. Since everything beyond it was a colossal mess, I decided to ferret the full-priced. My plan was to walk around the “skeleton” a few times, sightseeing. Inhaling the rich scent of the haute couture, familiarizing myself with the clothes. Then I would begin browsing, interjecting every few minutes with things like: “Oh, that’s cute!” or “Feathers? There? Please!” or “This would look fabulous with a clutch purse and heels.” (Of course, since I’m not too fashion savvy, most of the time I was just regurgitating fragments of fashion dialogues I’d heard elsewhere. It was all part of my never-ending plan to impress the salespeople at Saks 5th Avenue.) Then, after I was done perusing the sort-of-famous-but-not-all-that-known brands, I’d explore the sectioned off areas, starting with Chanel.

The Chanel room was nothing more than a shrine to its greatness. Mannequins striking sexy poses were lined up in the window display, clad in the best of that season. (Which I think the theme of which was “Classic Granny.” Nothing risqué was to be found in sight.) In the room I could see only perfect cuts, hems, patterns and stitching hanging from every wall. Awe-struck and salivating, I approached the room taking careful, consistent steps, not wanting to upset the perfection of it all. I stepped onto a large, rectangular patch of white tile that had the Chanel emblem painted in glossy black paint onto it. Even that dazzled me. It was as if I was in the presence of a superior being, who had taken the form of clothes. I was so wrapped up in my star-struck prudence that I failed to notice two sensors (one pitching the invisible laser, one catching it) that I stepped clear in between them, thus setting off an alarm. Startled and vexed, I rushed out of the room clutching my racing heart and wondering how the Chanel could’ve thought I was going to harm it. I tried again, twice, to infiltrate the cove (once actually stepping over the laser) thinking that perhaps the clothes had misread my intentions, alas each time the alarm screeched, each time adding time to my already eternal grudge against Chanel.

I advanced to the next room: Armani. The perfect word to describe the Armani room is “askew.” Piles of jeans tilted and leaned left and right. People who were in too much of a sales-frenzy to pick up the things they’d knocked off the shelves and hangers just left the clothes to lay on the floor like fashion road kill and the lights were so bright that I thought I’d teleported to a weird Filene’s Basement imitation. The place was so jam-packed with BCBG European expatriates looking for something to call home that I didn’t even bother taking a peek. It just wasn’t my scene.

Having been rejected by Chanel and in turn rejecting Armani, I was energized and eager to find a nook that made me feel safe and wanted. Prada seemed ideal. Ah, Prada. You clothe the devil and Henry the VIth. The name itself radiates sin and sex and everything scarlet. Fashionistas worldwide recognize Prada as perfect.

The Prada room was small, housing mostly black clothes. It appeared to b the theme of that season. The garments were hanged primly on neon green walls or dressed white, faceless and bald mannequins. Mostly, the room was generic and lacked flair. I scanned it for something to catch my attention, that’s when I saw it:

The food for the hungry, the money for the poor, the cure to cancer, the second kidney, all the justice, equality, brotherly love and peace in the world, it was ecstasy, it was nirvana, it was an orgasm of the soul, it was a core shaker, a life changer, a cum-in-your-pants-er. I firmly believe that I am a better person after having seen that dress.

The next day Bobbie was put down. The teary-eyed vigils turned into sobs punctuated by dark silences and an occasional “She was a good dog.” Nothing could make it better. Not a cookie, not a cake, not even The Black Prada.

I love them more than anything. I have met many marvelous people in my day, and they each taught me something new. My life is not perfect but i pretty much got everything i need right here with me, i got air in my lungs, few trustworthy friends who will respect and stand by me, and a family who will protect me. I love waking up in the morning not knowing what's going to happen or who i'm going to meet or where i'm going to wind up. i figure life is a gift and i don't intend on wasting it.

Launched in 2010 by fashion photographer Vincent Nord, Fiasco has grown quickly in popularity, currently enjoying a readership of 96,000, with online recently exceeding 3.5 million views. This weekend was a lot of fun actually. My friends and i went to a club on Saturday. I haven't seen them for so long now. I had so much fun that night, I met cute boys but i wasn't really interested but there was this one guy but i forgot to ask his number. It was my dumb move. He seemed like he was interested in me but hopefully i meet him again.The day before that i went to visit my friend Nathan & Adrian at their work. I went to a Philippine Basketball Association. I watched some of my friends basketball game, It was nice. My brother made a joke out of it too while we were watching the game. He was like "So many balls bouncing around" and i started laughing so hard cause i know what he meant. My sisters friend was like "oh! i got it now" haha...you know what i mean. I'm not a pervert but my mind at that moment was in a gutter. haha.

Happy New Years Everyone! I just wanted to thank you all for following this blog. For the past couple of days have been crazy. Christmas was amazing and hopefully this new year will be the best ever or more years to come. I'm going to be posting exciting new blogs this year. Other than that i'm excited for this new year i will have new resolutions. I haven't been posting new looks on lookbook.nu. So i am going to start again. I miss posting them. I'm going to start designing and building up my portfolio. I'm going to start eating healthy again. No more junk food. One more thing. I'm going to start paying all my credit cards. No more shopping. Balmain has been one of my favorites. Balmain is a fashion house that was founded by Pierre Balmain. Pierre Alexandre Claudius Balmain was a French fashion designer. Known for sophistication and elegance, he once said that "dressmaking is the architecture of movement." www.balmain.com

In the period following World War II, Pierre Balmain was "a king of French fashion" and outfitted stars including Ava Gardner and Brigitte Bardot. After Pierre Balmain's death in 1982, the house was led by Erik Mortensen, described by Vogue as Pierre Balmain's "right hand." Oscar de la Renta led the house between 1993 and 2001. Under Pierre Balmain, Mortensen, and de la Renta, the house was known for its classic, luxurious designs.

Today, the house is led by designer Christophe Decarnin, whose vision for the house is more modern and edgier. In around 2008 and 2009, The clothing line became extremely popular both among fashion magazines, runways and celebrities. His 2010 collection was shown during Paris' Fashion Week, was said to be totally retro and brought back the glitz and glitter of the 70s disco era. The Spring/Summer 2011 collection has been heavily criticised though. Balmain has been known for strong padded shoulders.

It has been quite a while since i posted a blog. Sorry about that. I have been busy working and such. Paying my debts is really stressful but once i pay all of it, I won't be thinking about it anymore. Thats what i am doing right now. Work is priority at the moment but other than that. I'm living my life. I am pretty content right now...wait...I just came across my mind and realized that i think i am in a rut. I feel like i have settled for comfort. I don't want to feel that because there such more things to do out there. I haven't designed or made a piece for quite a long time. I love designing and making clothes. I have been sitting at home, working my ass off, partying with friends and thats it. I need something new in life.

This is what i am going to do...From now...on this moment. I'm going to start taking photos again. I love Photography. One of my favorite hobbies. I'm going to start sewing all my designs and make a portfolio for next year when i apply for fashion school in George Brown (Toronto). I'm going to find a better job and pays good money. Visit my old friends and Start of something new. I'm sorry if i am ranting right now. Have you check ZARA's Men fall collection? i love all the clothes. I want to go shopping! but i gotta watch for my expenses since i am a shopaholic. I'd buy anything when i see something i like...but yeah...sorry i am ranting again. I want this new MARC JACOBS cologne for men "BANG" smells so good. My mom was like "ew it smells like black pepper". I was like thats the point. I still love the smell. I will probably get it. I have so much cologne. I just bought this YSL L'Homme. It smells like heaven. I gotta go. Its late. I'm going to bed. Have a great thanksgiving! (Canada).

Joe Sánchez – Bota de Caballero. I have always wanted a cowboy boots since i was 17. They are hard to find a good one, for myself. When it comes to boots. I am very picky about it not until i found these. Last Sunday i went for a thrift shop. I found these pair of cowboy boots. I tried it on and i was so happy that it fit me. It was only $17 dollars. Its rare that they have these kind of boots in a thrift store. I guess you just have to go in a right time and a right day. I can't wait to wear them. The boots are by Joe Sánchez.

Fall/Winter 09 Sneakers – Ann Demeulemeester High-tops. I am still in love with these sneakers. This is one of my favorite thing right now in my closet. I got them last year and i know they are a year old. I still love them. Ann Demeulemeester has been one of my favorite designer. She always design amazing shoes and clothing. This is a must-have boots for this fall/winnter.

If you're The Devil that wears Prada. Probably last thing you need is the Prada Book for your coffee table. This book documents the world of Prada. It launched last year, November 2009. The book is about 708 Pages. The Inside sections of the book trace Prada’s history, document the design and production process, and catalog the product Prada has introduced in the years since Miuccia Prada took over the company’s helm. There are 3,885 thumbnail photos of the “looks” at Prada runway shows since 1987. This is great. If you love Prada. This would be perfect to learn about the history of one of the greatest designer of all. Christmas is just around the corner. This would be a great gift for someone or for yourself. The book is available to buy at prada.com. I believe it is $169 in canada. I will definitely own one myself.

Fall is here and winter is coming soon. Seriously can you get any better. I love fall. So much things you can do with your clothing. You can wear a lot of layers. Fall is one of the biggest time to be fashionable. You can wear fur, leather, blacks, beiges, maroons, dark orange and much more (lots of studded accessories). I just love the smell of fall and the atmosphere. The cold, and the falling colorful orange leaves just makes your heart so warm. It makes you think of drinking hot chocolate, tea or a latte. I am just very excited. I can finally wear all the things i wanted to wear for a really long time. I didn't like summer very much...but now fall is here. A new beginning. Heres some of the things i want this fall.

It is almost 2:30 here in Canada. I can not believe that i am still awake at this time. I have been cleaning and organizing my room. I realize that i have lacked of organizing my designs, drawing and clothes for this past couple of months. So today i got rid of all the things i don't need. I put all the clean clothes on the hangers and put all the dirty clothes on the basket! haha. I felt like i have accomplished something big in my life haha. I Piled up my drawings into one folder. I found this old Calvin Klein jean jacket. I still like it, so i customized it with studs on the pockets. After that i polished my boots and shoes. I just realized that i have so many black shoes that i own. I rarely have color shoes. Maybe 3 white pair of loafers but thats just it. I found these sandals in H&M. I love them so much. They are so comfortable.
